Hotel investments in Europe on the rise

A recent study shows that the five main tourist destinations of Western Europe added up more than 4,500 million Euros in hotel investment during the first half of 2013. France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK together recorded 54 percent growth in hotel investments compared to the first half of 2012. Australia declares emergency over bushfires

New South Wales has declared a state of emergency for the next 30 days as fire-fighters try to contain the worst bushfires the state has seen in four decades.
