Chile is situated in the southern periphery, in the southernmost coordinates of Earth. It borders on Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. The Pacific Ocean sets its natural boundary to the West. Chile is a beautiful country with plenty of tourist attractions that can satisfy the most exigent of travelers. There are exotic places like the Isla de Pascua with its mysterious and enormous Moais, which keep on marveling its visitors until today; charming traditional little towns like Castro in Chiloe Island which shows interesting examples of corrugated iron buildings and wooden architecture; trekking paradises for hiking enthusiasts like the Torres del Paine National Park in the far south corner of the country which rewards the tourist with incredible views of large glaciers, vertical granitic peaks, lakes, and impressive falls; or amazing volcanoes like perfect snow covered Volcán Villarrica near the lovely tourist resort of Pucón.
