Armenia is a landlocked, mountainous country in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia. It is bordered by Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and Azerbaijan to the south. Armenians are known for their great cuisine, their great hospitality, and that they were the first Christians on Earth. Among the greatest destinations of armenians is the Holy Mount Ararat, although it no longer belongs to them. It is currently occupied by Turkey, however the best view on Ararat is from Armenia. Miraculous panoramas can be viewed from Yerevan. There are some objects in Armenia which are in the official list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Monastery of Haghpat and Sanahin, Cathedral and Churches of Echmiadzin and the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots, Monastery of Geghard and the Upper Azat Valley.
