Barbados is an island situated between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Venezuela and east of the Windward Island chain. Its amazing and beautiful coastline is 97 km long. Barbados is a tropical paradise with more than just powdery white sand beaches, a sparkling turquoise sea and clear blue skies. Barbados offers a wide variety of sights and activities that include everything from historic sites to tropical gardens and annual festivals and events. Barbados is a limestone island. This unique feature is the reason Barbados has a number of unbelievable caves filled with limestone formations and unique animals and plants.
