The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, is a country consisting of more than 3,000 islands, cays, and islets. The archipelago is located in the Atlantic Ocean north of Cuba and Hispaniola, northwest of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and southeast of the United States. With 500 miles of the clearest water in the world, the Bahamas have it all: glorious beaches, fabulous coral reefs, warm surf and challenging golf courses. The most popular destination is Paradise Island Outdoor Aquarium, located on New Providence Island. There are 11 exhibit lagoons where tourists can see 200 species of different marine animals. The two most popular beaches in the Bahamas are the Cabbage and the Paradise beach, both of them are dotted with tropical trees such as coconut, casuarinas and sea grape. Other popular island attractions include the Lucayan National Park, the Blue Lagoon Island and the Crystal Cay.
