Located in the central tropical Pacific Ocean, the Republic of Kiribati, is an island nation composed of 32 atolls and one raised coral island, dispersed over 3.5 million square kilometres, straddling the equator, and bordering the International Date Line at its easternmost point. Having many islands blesses the nation with numerous beaches, the beauty of the surrounding lavish blue Pacific Ocean, a splendid marine environment, diverse plant and animal species and many natural features in the islands, Kiribati has something to offer everyone.
