The mountain is named after this spectacular cave: literally translated, Tianmen means Heavenly Gate Mountain.
While the biggest natural attraction of the Tianmen Mountain is the Heaven’s Gate Cave, the biggest engineering attraction is the Glass Skywalk. The Glass Skywalk is located 4,700 ft (1,430 m) above sea level built into the steep rock face of the Tianmen Mountain and measures approximately 200 feet (61 meters) long.
