Cammbodia, officially known as the Kingdom of Cambodia, is located in Southeast Asia, on the southern Indochina Peninsula. It’s bordered by Thailand to the northwest, the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest, Vietnam to the east, and Laos to the northeast. Tourism in Cambodia is a well-developed industry – the second after the textile industry. Despite the horrendous crimes committed by the Khmer Rouge (reign of terror), the country recovers quickly and the number of tourists is growing every year. The contry is proud of her giant roots of ancient trees, graceful shapes of Apsaras and some temples buried in the jungle, hill tribes settled in the remote areas, colorful pagodas, strings of pristine islands and the century beach, ancient holy places like Angkor Wat, Bayon, Taprohm and Sandstone.
